I am deeply unserious, and I hope that you are, too.
My attitude is semi-reflective of where I'm from. Houston is a place where the cultural contrasts, diversity of thought, arts, and just doing it anyway-it-ness can either ground people or send them hurling through the atmosphere. My photo practice is along the same wavelengths of controlled uncertainty. While "slice of life” photography is a familiar genre, my aim is to reflect a world I want to see: one built on empathy, presence, and shared humanity.
